Prepare for and implement Summer Visual arts activities with youth. (Supplies and instruction are provided) Produce a visual art which can be displayed during camp showcase day. Support math and science instruction using supplied materials for 4th - 7th grade students. Serve as a chaperone during online activities and facilitate spotlighting speakers during online class discussions. Supervise all assigned aspects of the campers day including lesson set up, projects and preparation for up coming activities. Must also co-create and implement after camp program activities. The instructor must comply with camp policies and standards of conduct
Good character, integrity, adaptability, enthusiasm, high energy and a sense of humor. Minimum of 2 years of college, preferable in a visual arts field. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Experience teaching, mentoring or tutoring preferred. Must be able to pass a CORI test.
The Math and Science instructors will be supervised by the Program Director. The Math and Science instructor will be required to attend an orientation session before the program begins.. They will also be required to be available during the 6-week camp.
Program: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm; Months starting in Jun or July till Early August
